1.8 v 1.6 NA exhaust manifolds... difference please?

 Hi all

Has anybody out there ever tried putting a 1.8 manifold on a 1.6 block?

Basically I have looked at pics of the two and cant see any difference at the point where bolted to the block. Can anyone advise if there really is a difference in size or bolts positions etc?

There maybe other reasons why they cant be interchanged, but its really a general question so any ideas/ advice would be appreciated

In a word no. The 1.8 block is a little longer than the 1.6, this marginally affects the centres of the mounting holes

Somehow when I posted I knew you would come up with the answer I needed.

Hang on - does this mean I could fit my Greddy 1.6 turbo manifold on to a 1.8?
