Just got a MK2 engine and box today, dropped the MK2 5 speeder at my garage today.
But what else do I need, and can I also get it from a MK2.
Know I need the clutch flywheel and pressure plate which is on the engine and I’ll inspect the clutch.
Pedal box, (a shortened brake pedal since autos have fat ones?) Master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder…
I’m asking my boss if I could use his garage and tools which is nice but I gotta agree with him and keep him happy haha, but he suggests to weld the diff, do you have any experience but the driveshaft snapping? Since the matey I got the gearbox from said I should spend abit more and get something like an LSD from a MK2.5 and the propshaft with it.
