My headlights were looking pretty cloudy, so I got one of those restoration kits off of amazon. I also changed the indicators from orange to chrome. It has totally transformed the look of the car!
Damn, they look brand new! Got a link to the kit?
Also, how difficult was it on a scale of 1-10?
This is what I used. I would say the difficulty is around a 3. Takes a little bit of time but as long as you’re careful not to scuff the paint around the headlight it is very straightforwards. I used masking tape to protect the paint the whole way round the light to be extra safe.
Bang for buck hard to beat, car looks so much better now!
I fitted new number plates and took her out for a photoshoot.
I have used the name ‘Nelpo’ on car forums for well over a decade. It is inspired by the term ‘Hipo’ used in the 60s to refer to High Performance parts fitted on American cars. In my head, if I ever owned a garage I would call it Nelson Performance (Nelson is my last name), shortened to Nelpo.
I managed to get this plate many years ago - but this is the first car it has been fitted to!
