just dropped the mx5 off at Thrussington this morning.
having a few bits done.
underseal.
all oils changed (eng, diff, gearbox, steering)
they’re going to check to suspension install.
do a fast road alignment
nip up the hand brake to 5 clicks
turn up the damping by 4 clicks taking it to 12 from soft.
on the oils, iv supplied Castrol edge 5 30 for the engine.
however, I was unable to source the gearbox and diff oil in time and so they are going to use rock oil! which is what they use in their mx5 race car.
they are going to take some pics as they go along for me and I will post them up in my project thread over the weekend.
i had to snag their courtesy car to get home!

gotta say getting out of an mx5 and straight into a 107 is quite the, um, shock!!!
btw that last line is what you call a classic British understatement!
