30th edition Rays kerbed

The mrs managed to kerb the rear passenger alloy today. It’s not too bad but it’ll drive me nuts if I don’t get it repaired. Question is, am I ok taking it to a local Alloy repairer or do i need specialists to repair the damage cos they’re Rays?
Appreciate your input.

They are just alloys so a normal repair place is fine

I asked dealer repair not cheap cc £150

Around 50 pounds is the norm

They are ‘forged’, not ‘cast’ as most are, so may be you should check that they know the difference. It may be that it makes no difference but we need an ‘expert’ to tell us.

On a lighter side, it is always better that a partner commits the first ‘offence’ in all things domestic. You can now curb the wheels as much as you like without any repercussions!!!

It is an alloy. If it is bent it can be straightened, if it needs painting, it can be painted.
