91 Greddy kit turbo/manifold gasket

Hi all,

Sorry for asking the same question as I asked about 2 years ago…

I need a gasket for my Greddy turbo/manifold , does anyone know the Mazda part no. for it ( it believe it is the same as another model). I know someone does as I got the info from here a couple of years ago and stupidly didn’t order 3 from Mazda!

Blew another one today.

Cheers -  Paul

Hi Chaps,

I need a set od metal gaskets for my GReddy which has a TDo4H turbo.

Has any one sourced these in the UK?

I just need them in a bit of a hurry. I will have a ring around on Monday, but just wondered if anyone had any ideas before I do that.

The turbo to manifold gasket you can pick up at Nissan, part number 14415-17M00 for a 300ZX - about £12. Cant help you with the other as thats the only one i had to replace.

Thanks, and do you know I looked for that before I posted… your search skills are better than mine. Cheers - Geoff!

Paul

It depends who you ask but many advocate not using any gasket between the turbo and manifold, if it isn’t there, it can’t blow it !

Yeah, good point! It seems to be the only weak point on my set up.

Have a read up but I was surprised when I took an AVO turbo kit apart not to find one and then I found out that many advocate not bothering, including Corky IIRC.

Providing the mating surfaces are machined flat and are in the correct alignment, then you could get away with a smear of exhaust gasket cement. I worked on a Massey Ferguson Turbo tractor a few years ago and discovered that all Massey tractors leave the factory with no gaskets on the machine. All  the joints are made with the appropriate hermetite jointing compound.

I need one of these too, but also I need an engine to manifold gasket. Would that be the standard non-turbo part?

That’s certainly what I use and have never had a problem.
