How easy is it to replace the ABS reluctor ring on 2007 NC?
Anybody give instructions or advice.
As a general rule they just press onto the shaft, easy enough with the appropriate tools, more difficult without.
What are the appropriate tools??
A large circular press tool and a press. You could knock it on with a hammer and drift but there is a chance of damaging it. That’s assuming the drive shaft is on the bench, getting it off may prove troublesome if things are seized…
Tool should be something like this, you could improvise with what you have. If you get the part cheap enough you’ve got nothing to loose by trying. Be sure to clean any rust build up from the CV joint.
