Advice please about the glen eagles edition

Hello all, I am new to this site and keen for some advice. I have been offered  a tidy two owner glen eagles mx5 with only 80k on the clock and fsh. What do I need to look out for with these models, the photos look ok but before I view the car I would like some pointers as to the areas that generally show signs of age.

thanks in advance Will.

The only thing to look out for specifically on that specific special edition are te interior would be difficult to replace it has champagne colour leather seats and wood effect internal finishings.

Otherwise scan the various buying guides for the MX5 with rust being the obvious major concern but accept that this is a 23 year old car and at that age the various components are no longer “bullet proof” they are 26 years old.

Any non-standard trim fittings on these models are essentially unobtainable now. The later Mk1s like this are more susceptible to rusting than earlier cars.
