Another Computer Question for the Whizz kids

I have scanned a drawing/sketch into Microsoft Word and I want to use the eraser(rubber) tool for some modifications. I am sure it used to be there in the past but not now since I had a lot of computer problems recently.

Can someone spell out for me how to get it back as part of the drawing tools that are there?

I wasn’t aware of a rubber tool in Microsoft Word - there definetly is one in Microsoft Paint though…
If you go to where your drawing/sketch is located (My Documents??) and right click you should see a “Open With” option, click that and choose paint.
That should solve it - if you don’t see a “Open With” option click on “Properties” and it should be in there…
Hope that helps!

I think the erasor tool is only for lines in tables when using word.

Word never had an eraser tool for drawings.

Depending on what you want to do, you could use the drawing tools to blank out something though (by inserting white lines/squares/whatever above the part you do not want), or alternatively you could use paint (or similar), as said above.

What version of word are you using?
Or at least, is it 2007 with the new-style ribbon?

You could be right,  I think it must have been Photoshop I had been working in.  The cold weather effects the brains you know, especially old ones.[:P]
