Have a Modulus alarm fitted to my 1.8 NA. Wasn’t given any remotes and seemingly they have now gone bust. What’s the chance of finding somebody that can provide a coded remote so I can a. use the alarm and b. utilise the central locking (didn’t even know I had CL until I reconected the battery and the car locked itself[:$]) Do you think I could find a new alarm that will use the old loom?

I’ve just had a new alarm fitted and the guy reckoned that all alarm systems are different, and that it would take too long to work out the other wiring that it is cheaper to rip out the old instal and start from fresh. Just had a quick google, and found your request for help from one of the forums, I see they didn’t reply.
