Anyone recommend a good tuner/rolling road in the Lincolnshire area?

Hi all,

I’m looking for somewhere in Lincolnshire, preferably nearer to Grimsby, that I can get my supercharged MX5 tuned, can anyone recommend anyone?

sorry don’t know of anyone - be carefull there are alot of cowboys out there.

our son tried a number of alleged tuning experts in north lincolnshire/south yorkshire. Had some extremely bad experiences. 

In the end he got some good advice and ended up doing things himself.

 Thanks Carolynne. That doesnt fill me with much hope! I just need to get the settings checked to make sure everything is running as tip top as it can be as the car has been serviced regularly but dont think anything has been done re settings for the SC, timing etc etc and would like to make sure the whole thing is working as best it can with regards to airflow, fuel injection, timing, power etc. The car drives and accelerates like a rocket when needed but just want everything checking.

 It was Performance 5 who helped my son, they talked him through everything. My son said he would happily take his car to them if need be, even though they are down south.

Knew what they were doing, very helpful, can’t say a bad word about them, this was about 3 or 4 years ago, but no reason why it should have changed.

 

Might be worth having a chat to them.

 

I have had a few bad experiences, but I won’t name and shame thoses places, I’ll just not reccomend them!
