[quote] Auto Bild has published their 100,000 km (62,000 miles) test of the ND1 1.5 l 131 hp version (April 2016 to November 2018).

Their general verdict is a clear recommendation. The only problems were a defective bulb and a broken tab on the windblocker which they said was their own fault due to rough handling of the windblocker.

They do very well instrumented testing at the beginning and end of their long term tests. Once 100,000 km are completed, the car is taken apart including engine and gearbox. See the German video linked below for shots of the dismantled car. The only part that they deemed worn was the extra cooler for the AC due to stones/dirt hitting it, everything else was in good to excellent condition.
All engines parts looked excellent and were measured to be within the tolerance for a new engine. There was a bit carbon buildup on the intake valves, but nothing to worry about.
Over the test, they felt like the engine was getting better.

Some testing data (beginning of test vs. end of test):

0-100 km/h: 8.1 seconds vs. 7.8 seconds
60-100 km/h 4th gear: 7.7 vs. 7.2 seconds
80-120 km/h 5th gear: 10.9 vs. 10.2 seconds

Fuel consumption (tested by DEKRA on a testing rig according to ECE standard): 6.5 vs. 6.1 l/100 km.

True fuel consumption over the whole test: 7.4 l/100 km. That indicates they were not really taking it easy

Horsepower test was only done at the end of the test: 133 hp, two more than the official number.

A clear improvement over 100,000 km. No sign of power loss due to carbon buildup.
They judged the 100,000 km engine as well run in .
