Bands you would travel a long distance to see?

Which band that you have seen previously would you make a long journey (in excess of 100 miles) to see?

For me it’s Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats, outstanding live performers.

I once drove from Poole to the NEC in Birmingham to see Jethro Tull, went for a curry afterwards and then drove back to Poole. Great gig, splendid curry!

More years ago than I care to think about I went from S Devon to Donnington park for Monsters of rock including ZZ Top, Bon Jovi, Magnum and many others. That was 215 miles each way. I’ve still got the ticket!

I went there in '87 and '88. I was still in school. '88 was that tragedy year, where some fans got crushed in the Guns n Roses set. I remember the crowd rushing/waves. Nuts. About 150 miles each way from where I lived.

Radiohead. Saw them at Glastonbury a good few years ago and tried to get tickets for them recently in London but no luck.

Flew to Düsseldorf a few years ago to see award winning blue grass band Steep Canyon Rangers a week or so after seeing them perform with Steve Martin at the Festival Hall in London. Flew to Berlin to see DJ Paul van Dyk play :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::+1:
