Ok im not having a good day at all, my boyfriend tried to help me replace my existing elec aerial with a manual one, he in error started trying to unbolt where the battery negative cable is bolted to the chassis, he turned it prob twice when it sparked and I realised what he was doing, i undid the bolts for aerial etc and carried on. returned aerial to existing place etc and locked car with alarm fob, the alarm went off shortly after which seemed unusual as it was un touched. I came to leave about 20 mins later and she was dead, no ignition just an annoying clicking from the dash area.
I jumped the battery and drove home fine but after turning off the ignition she was completely dead again. Up until today I have had no power problems what so ever! however im not sure if I made a massive error by disconnecting a yellow and red cable that led to the battery?they have been re connected…is my battery dead or is there a wiring problem?
