I had them for a while, took them off when the car was re sprayed and haven’t re-fitted them yet. They certainly make access to the engine bay a lot easier, but mine started to show signs of rust after a couple of years. Also mine were visible through the sides of the bonnet. Whether that was due to me fitting them in the wrong place I don’t know. For £15 I guess you get what you pay for. [Do the e bay ones come in a box with a semi naked lady on the outside]?
THANKS FOR REPLY GEOFF ,I DONT KNOW WHAT BOX THEY COME IN ,THEY DO COME WITH FITTING INSTRUCTIONS AND YOU SHOULD SEE THEM FITTED FROM OUTSIDE OF THE CAR ,THEY HAVE BEEN IN SOFT TOP MAGAZINE AS A FEATURE ON FITTING THEM A FEW MONTHS AGO ALSO.
I’ve got them on mine and love them and give you a bit of extra room when tinkering. The chrome e bay ones will start to rust in a couple of months so if you can get the black ones.
