Although I moved to Central Portugal over 3 years ago both my wife Sue and I brought our MX5 Mk 1’s with us. Mine is a BRG Limited Edition of which there were only 250 produced, which I am now restoring to its former glory. However the car was missing its handbook etc in the Special Edition leather wallet and I wondered if anybody had one they wanted to sell??
I can provide the registration number and plaque number via pm to verify my ownership.
Also interested to hear of any other parts for this model clogging up anybody’s garage, office, storeroom etc.

Hi Paul,I have a set of alloys which may be the ones your car was originally fitted with if my research is correct.Thats the good news, the bad is that one rim is damaged but is being sent to a specialist repairer (fingers crossed).If my information is correct these are 14inch OZ rims very similar in style to the BBS rims but with the centre cap being held on by a grub screw.If your wheels are original could you post me a photo of your wheel so I can confirm this information.

Thanks for your contact. I have all good bodywork, apart from the dreaded sills, which are due to be replaced.
Things I am looking for most are the boot lid, with integral chrome luggage rack as fitted on the cars originally plus the leather wallet and handbook and also the original key ring.
Just out of interest, does the dash have to Limited Number Plaque still intact and if so what is the number on it please?

Don’t recall a plaque, but will crawl into my storage space over the weekend and let you know if I find one.

Any of you lads know if you can buy replacement plaques and if so can you get them with just the vin number and reg ?.
