BRG Mk1

I’ve had PUG for 2.5 years, mostly still standard apart from Hard Dog rollbar, Rota alloys (for summer anyway) IL Motorsport backbox, engine bay strut-brace and front chin spoiler. Does the everyday commute as well as the odd track venture without complaint (apart from demanding a fresh 4 litres of Mobil 1 every 3500 miles LOL)…

Maybe not the fastest thing on-track but still lots of fun! Would be great to go Forced Induction but I need the 5’s legendary reliability intact, likewise lowered/sportier springs = not ideal on Wiltshire’s crumbling B-roads. I guess I need a track-sl@g as well as my work-a-day ‘5’ LOL.

Very nice.

I have a similar car.

Mine has Tein ‘super street’ suspension, it came already fitted in Japan I think. It make the car sit a little lower and does make thing a bit bumpy, but still bearable on the B roads. I also have an IL Motorsport catback system and de-cat pipe, very good exhaust.

Cheers! [H]

Post-up some pics of yours?

I can’t find how to do it.

I have pics on my profile, any help with how to upload here gratefully received!

Hiya,

Have a look-see at this:

http://mx5oc.co.uk/forum/forums/t/380.aspx

The way I have done it is to save my pics to Photobucket.com (free photo hosting site) = each pic has a number of ways of referencing it from Photobucket; inlcuding an ‘img’ one for forums/discussion boards. I simply copy this link from Photobucket into the message I’m composing and when you hit Preview/Post the forum goes and fetches the piccy. HTH.

eg. [1MG]http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w155/ian_n_paterson/MX5/mx5layby.jpg[/1MG] (I have replaced the I of IMG with a 1 so it doesn’t just drag the piccy in the link.

Hope that worked!

Looking good guys [Y] The best colour by a country mile IMO…But then i`m a tad biased.

Hi, mine’s a uk '97 1.8s, i must agree about the colour. Not long changed the wheels and had a Larini exhaust fitted other than that all standard. regards.
