Bromley Pageant of Motoring Car Show - 10th June 2012

Oki doki

i think i might be able to pop over for the day and have a look around, not seen many mx5 ers for a long time.

 Sarah,

Forgive me if I’m being a bit dim here, but I was just looking at the tickets etc for Sunday, and the entry pass (and the info sheet) says that driver and vehicle gain entrance with it, but all other occupants must have appropriate tickets…does this mean that I will be expected to cough up for 'er indoors on the gate, only I was under the impression that the exhibitor ticket covered both of us ?

It’s not an issue if I do have to pay a little more on the day, it would just be handy to know in advance.

Properly looking forward to a great day out,

Regards

BK & 'er indoors

Thumbs up Cool mate

Hi Kev. We got the pass & one ticket for the passanger. Make sure you’ve not got a ticket in the envalope somewhere. Wink

nope…might be that i have only paid for one ticket…it was that long ago i can’t remember now…i’m sure Sarah will let me know

I can’t remember how much i paid now either so i wouldn’t be able to tell you mate. It’s a good day out & looking forward to it. Good luck mate Thumbs up

or is it the coloured pass that admits me and the car, and the single ticket that admits the missus…told you i was being a bit dim Embarassed

Yep. You got it Thumbs up

you must have heard the sound of the penny dropping all the way across the towns mate Embarassed

Whistling Big Smile

I heard that penny drop down in Eastbourne !!!Wink

Okay folks you all have the correct tickets, the hangar is for driver and car entry and the extra ticket is for your passenger all for £5 not bad eh, for those that still to pay me they can pay me on the day no problem.

Hope this explains all. See you at Bromley or at the meeting place.

Cheers

The weather for Sunday at the moment on the met office post code BR2 9ET forcast is forcasting rain, however the winds will have died down a little, we will have three large club shelters which we will be putting up on the stand. The weather as we have seen with the Jubilee celebrations is something we cannot guarantee however we will be bringing our portable BBQ and so if anyone wants to bring a burger to cook on it etc then you are more than welcome, we will have enough charcoal to keep it running for whoever wants to cook on it. We have been to this show 5 times and in this time only ever had sunshine for 2 of these events, however it has never dappened our spirits we are keeping fingers crossed for dry spells in between, bring your polishing gear with you and a your usual smiles and we should have a fun day, bring wet weather gear and sensible shoes as it is a grass field.

See you on Sunday and lets hope the forcast changes a little and is not as bad as they are forcasting you know what they are like with forcasting!!!

Cheers
