If anybody wants to get back into programming (and playing games in) these sort of machines I’m really enjoying a thing called TIC80. Runs on a modern computer but simulates old school kit. Embrace the constraints!

The early one I remember was asteroids. Very simple game from 1979 I think, blasting rocks from a triangular ship with some abilities.
It was good fun; will download it again
