Car Bodyshop in East midlands

Hi all,

I’m looking for recommendations for a good bodyshop in the East midlands. The rear arches on my Arizona are starting to rust and I would like to ge tthem done sooner rather than later. The problem being that my car is blaze yellow which is apparently a nightmare to match and spray. Which is why I want to know a place that somebody has already used as opposed to picking one at random.

Regards

Colin

Pauls motor bodies - see http://www.paulsmotorbodyrepairs.co.uk/
Does remedial work for Noble, great bloke and good friend of mine. Tell him Martin sent you (we play skittles together).
You’ll also be less than half a mile away from JIMparts (Leigh is a decent MX5 chap too).

I have added him to the list here

In the same boat with my '95 California - MOT due early March so I’m now looking for a decent bodyshop as despite having my car waxoyled last summer, this winter has been particularly unkind to the 'Five and the sills & arches on both sides now need proper repairs. I know yellow is difficult to match as I used to work for a car sprayer. I could get my car bodged just to see it through the MOT, by that I mean sand the rust scabs off and load the sills with filler, which I can do myself (I did it this time last year!) but I really ought to remedy the corrosion properly.

What doesn’t help is the fact that I might be losing my job at the end of February so I could do without having to shell-out £300+ (or whatever the going rate for new sills is?) to fix my car but at least I know that once the job is done, it should last another ten years without worry.

I live near Stoke-on-Trent, so I’m more West Midlands area but I’d be willing to travel out of my way if a good bodyshop came highly recommended; good quality but I can’t afford to be ripped-off. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
