1st job is to test the battery.

Upload the video to YouTube first then do a copy and paste to here:+1:

Bit more info too wouldn’t go amiss, how’s the battery?

It was fine yesterday, would the lights still work if I had a bad battery?

How is the car used, occasionally, every day, short or long distances? First job test the battery condition, they last longer than 8 years if well maintained but it’s getting on a bit.

It’s my daily drive.. Would the light and all still work if the battery was that bad?

Probably will but not enough juice to turn the starter. Battery and fuse check would be my first go to.

Fuses

Ok, thank you. I will check the fuses and battery first. If I can find my volt meter and the fuse box! I found the one under the bonnet

My 2018 ND1 displayed the exact same symptoms last summer. Drove all day then wouldn’t start in the evening but I still had lights and even radio but there just was not enough juice to kick the starter motor. I could hear it click on the starter button but it would not come to life.

Car started with a jump pack and was even charging fine again but I put a new battery in the following day. It was likely the original battery and displayed no warning symptoms up to the point of the car not starting.

Thanks for the response… I will check battery tomorrow… much appreciated

It could even be something as simple as a slightly loose battery terminal connection.

Thanks all For the advice… new battery installed and back up and running…:wheel:. Only £100 so not to bad

Now you have replaced the battery and solved the problem if your car is stored in a secure garage I would fit a battery cut off switch.
