Cat hairs on my mohair roof!!!

In my last house I had a koi pond & the local cats, my own included helped themselves to a very expensive breakfast!!!   I used a couple of ultrasonic cat deterrents & they stayed away once they were there.

Tether a Jack Russell to the wing mirror.

Dogs think of you as Family.

Cats think of you as Staff.

I’ve got 2 dogs & a cat & I love them all, but then my cat doesn’t go around wrecking the neighbours ‘Pride & Joy’

I think it was Winston Churchill who said:-

“I like pigs, because while cats look down on you and dogs look up to you pigs treat you as equals”.

Try a used half-cover and criss-cross the upper part with broad double-sided sticky tape. Though if it’s a different colour to the roof, it’s possible the cat may get wise to when the sticky tape isn’t there.

To remove fur: a damp rubber glove or proper vacuum like a Henry with a softened end.

Thanks for all the pointers on my cat problem.

Can’t stop the cat going on the car/roof but the hair and footprints do seem to clean off relatively easily so I guess I’ll just live with it!

Will need a good clean before I attend any show and shine events, but for every day use I’ll cope with it looking less than pristine.

I can’t make too big a deal of it with the cat’s owner though as my wife has just given the green light to our daughters getting a cat!!!

Let’s just hope our own cat doesn’t love the car roof too!!!

One of those lint rollers from a pound shop is good for getting the hairs off. yet to find a cover the cat hates to sit on

Hi there - I had same problem, I got a Cabrio Shield, it seems pretty good and it works. Expensive but worth it to me .

pour pepper all over your roof

My cat is getting really excited, soon she’ll be able to choose which one to sit on, the Soul Red S-EL Nav or the Orange 30AE!  The things I do to keep her happy!

Well, when all’s said and done they are only cars after all!

I use blown air from a pet hair drier to clear most hair, fluff and stuff from soft top roofs. Then, if some stubborn hairs remain I use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment.
