Changed rim size creates confusion

I have recently brought a 2005 Mazda MX5 Artic.
I am new to MX5s but it suited my pocket and was a “Lock down” impulse buy, to be used next year to follow Rick Stein’s route through France.
Oh, and of course, the wife liked it.

The tyre sizes shown on the driver’s side door sticker, indicate a 14" front wheel and a 15" rear wheel.

Someone has obviously changed the fronts for 15".

I am now unsure of the correct tyre sizes and pressures for all 4 tyres.

Also:-

Is it legal?

Is it safe?

Is the speedo compromised?

Is it a modification that I need to inform my insurer of?

Can anyone please help?

I think you may be mis- reading the tyre information

The sticker shows the different tyre sizes that the car was fitted with, not that it had 14" up front and 15" rear.

The Arctic edition had 15" wheels all round.

26 PSI recommended all round on the MK2/NB variants.

Welcome to the club by the way.
