What is involved in changing my cloth seats to heated leather ones?

Are your fabric seats heated ?

If so straight swap as long as you replace with Mazda seats.

If not heated you’ll need to install switches and wiring I guess ?

Apparently the wiring is there (the loom) for heated seats in cars without heated seats. Most important that if your car is an NC2 you get seats from an NC2 and likewise NC2 switches. Although the NC1 leather seats will fit NC2’s the loom configuration differs NC1 to NC2 to take account for the variable switches in NC2. NC1 heat controls were just on/off switches.

It is possible to fit NC1 seats into NC2 and the other way round but it also involves messing with wiring at the seat to the switches.

I’ve seen a video on YouTube where he fits resistors for the standard on/off heated seats

I think I’ve seen that on here too, can’t remember who did it.
