Cleaning plastic window of soft top πŸ€”

anyone got some suggestions of things to clean back window with?
i tried t-cut. it helped. but still could be better.
alternatively, anyone replaced the plastic and done the sew-zip thing?

There is Meguairs RX window polish. Don’t expect a miracle cure though. Old windows can get brittle though.

My Mk1’s hood had the plastic window, it was starting to go opaque, Autoglym super resin polish brought it back to see through again. Plenty of rubbing though but got there in the end.

If it’s gone cloudy, then lots of old MG owners use Brasso as it’s slightly abrasive. If not cloudy then the products above

Does that not scratch the plastic surface? that was my concern about using a car polish on the plastic window.
Good to know as the specialist window polishes seem relatively expensive

Mine looked good after a few sessions with the SRP from Autoglym. I’ve used it on plastic caravan windows too.
