It’s a bit far to travel just to experience, but the Col Du Torini is a totally fantastic road to drive, especially if your ride is a well set up RWD car.
Situated in the South of France the route goes from sea level to over 5000ft above sea level, even if the weather is a little bit dodgy you can still be guaranteed that at some point in the journey you will see some spectacular scenery…
Oh and the road is brilliant as well, combination of fast straights, hairpin bends as well as some very challenging corners.
From Monte Carlo head out to a town called Menton, take the D2566, the road is about 30 miles long, and at the end there are some very nice restaurants.
At the top you then have 3 choices, the way you came back and two other routes, one of them, the D70, is a normal road, the other one is as good as the way up
