Coolant hose chafing

  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __Coolant hose. A tip from another website. Underneath the air filter box is a large coolant hose which has begun to rub against the chassis. I cut a one inch piece of small diameter rubber hose and slid it over the sharp area on the chassis. The large hose is now pressing against the small piece and will hopefully hold it in place. I will check at a later date; if it has moved I will Araldite it in place. It was only 10 minutes’ work and it could prevent a massive loss of coolant with drastic consequences.
