 hi folks

just wondering if you can help me out. A couple of weeks back when we had the cold snap I in my wisdom decided to put the hood down because it was a lovely clear morning, to my horror an almighty crack exploded out from the PVC window and that was that a huge hole in the back window.

Now i have 3 options (taking into account i live in Scarborough N Yorkshire)

  1. have it fixed locally in malton for £170

  2. drive all the way to Swansea (wales) and have it fixed for £50 buy a chap who everone raves about.

  3. this is where u folks come in Find somewhere else locally but is chaeper., Can anyone recommend anyone or buissness that they have had dealings with in this matter

 Option 4…Buy a second hand glass heated rear screen on Ebay then drive to Swansea

 Option 4 is a good call (any excuse for a drive)[;)]

I had the back windo replaced on my old MK1 by a local upholsterer…actually specialised in furniture upholstery etc but had gained a good name at sorting out 5’s as well. I am in Scotland so not much used to you but this only cost about £50.

Whatever you dont give someone £170 for a back window replacement… you could almost get a new hood for that.
