FWIW, I believe the name Crosland, as applied to automotive filters and possibly other parts, was purchased by Eurocarparts between 5 and 10 years ago. Crosland was previously owned by Sogefi, in whose ownership the original Crosland factory was closed.

Any filter sold as Crosland has for years AFAIK been ‘sourced’ by Eurocarparts for which it is effectively an own brand, although I believe Halfords also sells them now. They might be OK, they might not.

Personally I would buy the manufacturer part, or an equivalent from e’g. Mahle/Mann/Bosch.
