We got it sorted. and made some remote changes to the vvt intake timing - found more horses there too!
i’ve overlaid the ecu outputs from the initial map from leaving tuner, to the one now. this really shows the throttle closure issue! you can see it was cutting power, and therfore translating into torque losses.
ofc this is just a virtual dyno.
so im booked into a local dyno to see how much im making. 5 weeks away mind you. popular place.
If performance links dyno was accurate at 225bhp, then the improvements here arnt small! cant wait to see what we get.
just to spell it into numbers, the ecutek here reckons its now seeing an extra 18bhp at peak!

Sounds like a very solid result! Would be interesting what the performance is like 100 to 200km or over the quarter mile. Would imagine it’s S2000+ performance at these power levels
I know some of these answers already actually just have published that data. I’ll get digging later.
not from standing start (so many variables) but same-gear pulls are really good for showing power. 
The s2000 power to weight ratio is worse than the typical ND with 200bhp, if I recall. Got in my head the s2000 was a bit chubby, and was about 190bhp/ton despite it’s 240bhp.
But either way - yea side by side the (or mine I mean) ND should be leaving an s2000 behind.

The induction kit was produced by Marino Engineering in the US to reduce inlet air temperatures which it does over the oem airbox. The K&N ‘weedy’ air filter has more surface area than the standard filter. The little air box is actually deeper than it looks as there is access to a big area behind the headlight, in my case i have also redirected the BBR intake to supply more cold to the filter. Independently tested and shown not to lose power compared to the oem system.

Had a weekend in Cairngorms. Got to throw it around a bit.
Firstly - I must have under torqued a chassis brace. Had my first experience of NVH! Centre mirror, windscreen skittles over various bumps! Need to re tighten lol.
Second - car runs so well. Pulls like a train! Really needs a shorter gear ratio though. Spend almost all my time in 3rd gear and even then cant take it to redline lol.

found the issue! Chassis bracing was tightened up just fine.
so why this brand new ‘issue’ and behaviour over bumps ive not had before?
aha - found it!
the strut bar hasnt been bolted to the cowl fixings, its just sat on the threads! so that part will be able to freely flex up down, left right.
tell you what, now i know not having a front strut fitted has this much of an impact (my 2nd time running without one, recorded durng previous coilove rtesting in this build thread) i’ll never be without one again!

went through some old logs (on same road).
with the RPM rev limit increasing, it doesnt give the best comparison through the mods/maps, as peak power has now shifted far beyond the oem redline. so what we have instead is almost a Torque comparision instead of peak power.
but as an idea…:
my data:
Bone stock ND (log files from when ecu was uploaded, but not yet mapped), the redline in 3rd gear showed it peaked at 78mph. (now is 91mph)
Ive got some pulls from about 44mph to 78mph. so i have used these exact same speeds for the current logs (despite the fact 6500rpm in my current format is missing much of my power, as i peak at 7600).
the results are interesting
these are only 7 seconds of full throttle in 3rd gear, so a small window, and RPM starts at about 3500 to 6500.
But you can see the difference!
Stock ND will be at 78mph (and needing to change gear) whereas now i am at about 85mph, 8 meters ahead, and still in gear as i enter my peak power 1,000rpm range.
((Bear in mind this is NA tuning, not turbo or s/c, so the torque in the midrange isnt getting big bumps))

ND Perfected: In the area of **Handling.**
Had my first proper outing with the new homemade flat-floor (underbody). Oh that is so much better! its such a noticable difference you would spot it immediately on a blind test.
main differences: on the motoway now at 70 (ish) car is far more stable. no longer ‘wobbles in the wind’ at the higher speeds. I took it to glouchester and back recently without any flat panels at all and it drove so bad in a straight line.
and the other key aspect is high speed corners. the mid corner ‘bob’ has now been fully muted. throwing the car into high speed bends now with some serious confidence and with the car behaviour to back it up.
very happy. 
I will return to revise the design over the summer, but with all the major voids now covered up and a very large surface area applied ive certainly found most of the possible gains. anything else now will just be ‘tweaking’.
I will get some good pics next time its in the air, but this is a sample. (cutout seen in pic is for the cat which gets v hot)

You should definitely incorporate a gearbox cooling scoop in your design!

i have a slit and a little duckbill. i followed similar design to what lotus did with their rear engined (and gearboxed) Evora. its only small, but its more than the Verus flat panel had in that same spot
. although ive not captured any airflow around it, idea is that it pulls air through and over the gearbox (heat expell) rather than scooping fresh air too the gearbox. my man-math thinking was that if i tried to promote air in, where would it go? it would get trapped as the flat floor is mated to the chassis.
but nothing like the design youve got. not that agressive / scoopy. (is scoopy a word?
)
You could design it like a spitfire radiator nacelle flowing air and out - maybe!
