Does the NB/mk2 have a clutch safety switch to prevent starting?

Model: mk2.5 2005 Icon, this may sound like a daft question but do the late NBFL cars have a clutch safety switch which means you have to start the car in Neutral?

Definitely not on the NC that’s for sure.

Not experienced with my NB Mk 2.5 June 2005 Icon in 16 yrs of Ownership !

I looked first thing this morning, our UK cars do have the switch but it’s not used by the ECU for starter inhibiting, probably used for other ECU jiggery-pokey like balancing idle etc.
