Yes they do with the correct leads.
You probably have the Alpine Unit which was the follow on from the Sanyo one in my 13 model.

Yes, but depends what unit you get, what adapter (or none) you’ll need.
With the unit I bought, you can just connect straight to unit with wire from loom and program the unit directly. But with brand items like kenwood and Sony etc, they have their own protocols which require an adapter box in some cases.
Yep, mine was a Kenwood unit and pretty much perfect for us.
