Doughnuts !

So the car can do them but the big intrigue is can you???

Beginners guide, start stationary on full right lock, pop 5000rpm on the clock and dump the clutch, floor the throttle then modulate and steer to choice. Once you master the car control move on to a more advanced level.

Much easier and less demanding on the car to start on grass. Space is your friend when things go wrong, and they will. Good luck, have safe fun and remember donuts are bad for the health of both you and the car!!!

And turn traction control off

…… or not, as the case may be.  Remember my embarrassing attempt to learn how to do a donut at the 2017(?) National Rally at Gaydon - where I ended up driving into the security fencing.

Oh, the shame of it…

Just out of interest, does the Mk3 have traction control? I may have assumed incorrectly that it did not.

My NC1 does - TSC or DSC can’t remember what is written on the switch. It’s a real pain, comes on too easily.

Hey thanks Saz for the tech spec a little lost on me I’m afraid, I’ve tried hard to understand it and it is somewhat clearer now so thank you for your time in replying for me it’s somewhat of a minefield  - mad malc - “am up I to the doughnuts” ?? !!! Probably not ! time will tell

I’ll give it a go and report back -

thanks to everyone being new on here I’ve been so welcomed by everyone ???
