Although I love my NB 1.8 Icon, which still pulls like a train and handles pretty good too for 21 years vintage, my ND is my First choice for a long run, just took in Brecon Beacons last Thursday, great run, pity the weather was indifferent!
For me with the 5’s it’s all about fun, if you need practicality there are other great car options out there!

They’re not that bad practically if you don’t need space or to carry passengers, I got my ND as a daily driver to go alongside my 3 MPS which is currently a bit of an ongoing project 
and it’s been perfect for going to work and back and I average about 48mpg.
