Cats Protection are holding their Summer Fun Day and Car Show again this year to raise much needed funds to go into the kitty (same old joke). This event is on the same day as our Rally but not all of you are going so why not put your names down for this event and have a really enjoyable day out.
A kind volunteer (you know who you are) has put himself forward to run this event if we can get enough cars to go, so we would like 10 cars to join.
You will be meeting at Raysteade Animal Sanctuary, The Broyle, Ringmer, Lewes BN8 5AJ at 8.15 for a quick coffee (cafe opens at 8am) before setting off at 9am for Chelwood Gate, East Sussex RH17 7TT to arrive at approximately 9.45am so we can get parked up before the gates open at 10am.
Not only is there a car show but there are loads of craft and food stalls, live music, games and much, much more and all in lovely surroundings with beautiful walks. Also anyone showing their car will be invited to a free tour of the cat centre, which is well worth the visit.
Once you are all parked up the gates open at 10am and you are asked not to move your vehicles until 4pm when the public leave.
There is a cafe on site with a lovely menu but if you would like to bring a picnic please do so.
