Eastern - Suffolk Meet

Having met some fellow Suffolk residents at the Norfolk Fives meet last week, we are planning to go to the Manger at Bradfield Combust, IP30 0LW for the first meet up of 2025. All welcome - will probably get there 7ish for a weather dependent tyre kick and then a chat to maybe sort out some events for the summer ahead.
Let us know if you feel like joining us.

Thanks Peter & Allie for organising this.
Unfortunately myself and some of the other Manger “regulars” will be on a road trip to Germany so unable to be there.
Have a great night and hopefully catch up with you in May.

Will try to make this.

Due to a lack of response we will not be making the journey over to Bradfield Combust this evening. Hopefully someone will be able to organize a meet up in May and post the details here on the Forum so we can get more people to attend.

Shame that you couldn’t have made it to here…

Would have been a terrific meet up!

Is anyone heading to the Manger at Bardfield Combust south of Bury St Edmunds next week (Wednesday 7th May)? Paul

I’m up for coming if other people will be there.

Happy to arrive around 8:00 if we get a few more, even perhaps Mr Handy with one of his infamous quizzes and possibly the Nurburg Heroes.

Lovely evening!

Great to meet everyone. Sounds like the Nurburgring adventure was a great trip!

It’s June! Are any of you heading to the Manger on Wednesday evening?

I”ll be coming home from Leverkusen for work, so unfortunately, no.

@montymaster can we change this thread to just “Suffolk meet”? This thread is proving handy for checking who’s going every month.

I’ll be there again Paul. Looking forward to it.

Planning on coming along tomorrow, is it still 7pm?

Andy,

See you later, but can you see a post I created on the MX5 club web site? Description as follows:

NC Head Unit Replacement / Upgrade
2011 NC PRHT Current Head Unit is a Pioneer AVIC-F710BT, which is not hooked to the steering wheel controls & does not support Apple Play. Has anyone recently replaced this head unit (direct replacement) with a unit which supports Apple Play & can interface with existing controls on the steering wheel. I have been recommended a Pioneer SPH-DA360DAB, but not sure you can connect to steering wheel controls. Any suggestions will be welcomed. Thank you for reading this post & any suggestions offered.

If not I’ve obviously done something wrong. Chat later over a pint.

Regards

Paul

I’m planning to arrive between 7 and 7:30
