where’s the best place to pick up an electric supply under the bonnet? Need a new feed for the washers. Don’t ask, making work for myself!

I would suggest the fuse box in the back left hand corner of the engine bay (as you stand at the front of the car).
I found a spare fuse slot with 1 terminal populated (i.e. one side of the fuse blade fed) and 12V on it. I can’t remember if it was a permanent feed or switched with the ignition.
I used a piggy back fuse connector with a flying lead coming off it as the feed out to an air horn (after nearly being sideswiped off the road by a truck who didn’t see me).
Thanks again for the info, worked a treat. Easier changing the wiper switch. its on a spring toggle switch.
