I am trying to fit a push start S2000 button. Instructions looked pretty straight forward, there lies the problem. The button is already wired with a relay and three remaining wires to connect. Black= earth, Red (marked)= to starter, Red = to ignition source. Earth is connected to main nut holding steering column.
The connections are required to go into the ignition switch plug, detached for ease of access. I do not have a meter to check voltage only going by colors within switch.
Can anyone advise me as to which colors I am required to connect into for this year of MX5 which when done isolates the start by key. I.E. Turn key to acc’s then push button for start.
