Email Notification links not working

At some point between 1228 and 1328 (to be precise) the links in the email notification emails have stopped working.

The address misses out the “forum” folder, thus they try to navigate to addresses such as http://mx5oc.co.uk/forums/p/1098/6505.aspx#6505 rather than http://mx5oc.co.uk/forum/forums/p/1098/6505.aspx#6505.

Presumably just a setting somewhere…

I have had my Email subscription enabled but, since yesterday afternoon,Tuesday until this afternoon ,Wednesday I have been unable to receive ANY emails due to a glitch of some sort.

I kept getting an error window and conection terminated noticecoming on screen.

I noticed that by using WEB mail I could see that I had four Mx5 owners club emails stacking up with some other Emails.

Without opening the OC Emails I deleted all of them from the Inbox.

This solved my problem of receiving  Emails in Outlook Express. I have now dIsabled the Email Subscription.  It looks like there might have been a bug of some sort in one of the Emails. Not wanting to point a finger at anyone in particular but there was one from Australia, if that makes any sense

Nope wasn’t me, all my e mails are scanned before sending. I did wonder why you didn’t reply though—

Pleased to see you didn’t take any offence.

I have the same problem again this morning where I couldn’t get 6 emails into the Outlook Express Inbox when I pressed Send/Receive.

The answer was the same as last time, I deleted all the MX5 O C Emails in Webmail and then the other Emails came into the Inbox in Outlook Express.

It looks as though pressing the Email SubscriptionDisable/enable button only disables it for a particular thread, not all threads as I may have expected.
