If anyone sends me a PM I don’t get any notification of it even if I’m logged in here.
Nor can I find an option I need to turn on.
Is there one, if so where ?

If you do not want to recieve them for every post (which is why they are off I guess), change your Forum Subscriptions to No on everything (or just the ones you want) - you will then recieve emails for posts you have replied to (can be turned off on a post by post basis), posts you subscribe to (by clicking the email subscription button), and PMs.
Thanks but its not replies to my posts, its notification that I have been sent a message that I need.
ie that a PM is in my Inbox.
Go to your inbox, scroll to the bottom and the option is there for email notification [;)]
Email notification as I said above needs to be turned on in your profile for it to come through though (I think).
I’m assuming you do not want notification of threads/posts in the forum, hence why it is currently off.
As 200bhp says, it also needs to be set in the inbox, but this should default to send emails.
I noticed this the other day. I don’t want my email getting full up of crap relating to the forum. I just want a simple notification when I log in. Like it used to be on the old forum. All it has to say is “Inbox (1)” instead of just “Inbox”
I logged in the other day to send a PM and noticed I had an unread PM in my inbox dating back to November.
I’m sure that we can sort it so that it behaves as you said, but as no doubt you’d expect, it is not going to instantly jump to the top of the list (of things to sort on the forum)
Keep in mind that you can always use rules in your email client to seperate owners club emails from your main inbox.

Just dragging up an old post as I have a question on this subject, but this does not quite answer my question.
Basically, I do not want to ever receive an email notification of any response to any thread, but I get loads when someone responds to a thread I have made. I noticed there is an option to unsubscribe, can this be set to off as a default? I can’t figure out how, unless I am going blind!
