For various reasons (bad condition hood, bad weather, too lazy to take off the hard top, no where to stow it, rode my bikes thru the summer…etc) I have not had the top down for at least 12 months… I can hear the cries of derision as I sit here now…so eventually pulled my finger out and got a decent hood fitted, kept it up for a couple of weeks to bed it in.
Had a walk up to the beach this morning to watch a great sun rise, its been followed by some lovely sunshine too so rushed back home and down with the hood, on with the hat, gloves, fleece, heater directed to my toes and chest, shades on, Hendrix playing the blues on the CD and went for a run round just for the sake of it and loved every minute, my enthusiasm for all things MX5 has now gone back up a notch or two (hopefully enough to start planning the bodywork/paintwork jobs).
Roll on decent weather or even just dry weather, the hard top is back on ready for the snow forecast for tomorrow but there is now a dedicated space to stow it in the garage now so no more excuses [H]–>[:)]–> [:D]
