I think I will have to deal with this one myself as my Eunos is fited with, non-standard, “Mickuni” Carbs.
I noticed that the tick-over went up to 1000rpm (from 750rpm) and I adjusted to little screws to take it back down. Now, after a week, it has gone up to 2000rpm after a drive around. I did think something was sticking in the carb and a good dose of cleaner (RedX/WD40ish) would clear it but before I have had chance to try that I watched the tick-over creep up from 1000rpm to 2000rpm while standing (I did not touch the peddle).
Any ideas from my peers about what may be causing this before I start to pull apart four very expensive, balanced, non standard carbs.
I thought I better ask.
All the best
Iain
Obvious thing to check for first is an air leak.
Thank you for that, it’s not something I would have thought of as I’ve never had the problem before.
(this is not going to be as easy to find as an air leak in a tyre [:D])
