Mal, Serena, Patricia & I had a meeting with our contact at Bucklers Hard this morning to finalise the forthcoming Solent Area Drive and Display and River Cruise on Sunday 7th June, let’s hope the weather is as nice, still spaces available for the Drive & Display & River Cruise, the cut off date for bookings and payments is 22nd May 2026.

Good morning everyone,
Thanks to Tug for telling me about this PayPal Facility of creating pools of money, I have now researched and managed to create a Pool of Money for The Bucklers Hard Drive & Display on the 7th June 2026
Hopefully, this will make accounting for seperate events easier to manage
Here is the direct link to the Bucklers Hard Pool for members to pay their monies into, which expires and thus not accept payments after the 7th June

Timings for Bucklers Hard Event 7th June 2026
10.15am - Marshalls on site at Bucklers hard
09.30am - Members meet Rownhams Westbound
10.00am - Members Leave Rownhams Westbound
10.45/11.00 - Arrive Bucklers Hard
12.30am - Meet at Jetty for River Cruise
12.45am - River Cruise
1.30pm ish - Prize Draw after River Cruise
4pm - Depart Bucklers Hard
Note: All timings are approximate!
It should be a fabulous day and a big thank you to Patricia & John for organising this event for us
