Rare instance of getting the car out on one dry day among what seems like months of rain… Driveway isn’t the nicest setting but tried a few filters. Top is original.

My old red NBFL and Mabel my Border Collie. The photo was taken on my drive back in May 2011. Sadly Mabel is no longer here. Sadly too, the car was scraped last year due to rust - replaced by my current blue NBFL. Mabel looks quite placid here but was a very good agility dog (Grade 7 - the highest grade) with a lot of wins behind her.

And to balance things up my current blue NBFL at Shelsley Walsh competing in this year’s end of season ‘Harvest Festival’ event. I never though I’d end up doing any sort of motorsport - who knows where an MX5 might take you! I always feel Shelsley Walsh is special too - very few events where you can turn up in an old MX5 and take prt in in the same event as some fairly serious kit.

My old (now sadly scrapped due to rust) NBFL and one of my ILCAs (aka Laser) in the foreground at the local sailing club last year. The standard suspension coped with the very poor track to the club - I almost never take my current NBFL as it’s too low on Meisters.
