Fitting a double din radio to a NC

  1. My model of MX-5 is: __NC
  2. I’m based near: __Aberdeen
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __Fitting a double DIN Pioneer DAB230 radio to my NC. I have connected everything and works perfectly but problem is that I don’t have any brackets to secure it. I got a facia which fits fine but that’s as far as it goes. Has anybody else fitted a double DIN radio and if so how did you secure it?

The DAB230 will have come with a mounting cage. This should attach to the fascia.

Can you post a link to the facia kit you bought?

As below post…

In the picture below the larger brackets bottom right should clip into the back of the facia. Then you screw those brackets on to the side of your head unit. Can’t remember when I fitted mine if those screws came in the kit, available elsewhere if not.:+1:

BTW you discard the cage that came with your head unit, you won’t need it using those brackets.

If you bought the Connects2 Fascia- CT24MZ20 then that came with the 2 double din side plastic mounting brackets. Was that the one you bought?
