I have bought a standard mandatory boot lid carrier of ebay without any instructions!

Has anyone fitted this accessory that can share any tips.

If so and maybe even if not there is a video in the linked page which might give you pointers.

The Mk3 has a high level brake light and a boot rack could obscure it - so that’s a potential safety issue. The Mazda boot rack for the Mk3 has an integral brake light which needs a wiring kit.
If you have a PRHT you would also need to check that the rack does not foul the operation of the roof.
