Have the SPH-DA77DAB installed with a Dynamic Sounds fascia and wiring kit (non-Bose). The DA77 is a newer, faster version of the popular DA360 but runs around the same price.
Steering wheel controls work. I use Waze now instead of Google Maps as Waze still shows GPS speedo, where for some inexplicable reason Android Auto Google Maps does not.
Sound quality is improved with stock speakers. The system itself is snappy and connects to my phone either wirelessly or via the included USB extension - I tucked mine under the passenger side of the centre console. You can set the display to Night, Day or Auto mode and it’s simple enough, with plenty settings available to change the colours, brightness etc. Similarly there’s a load of settings to play with speaker and sound setup.
I replaced the stock aerial on the back with a powered Hama DAB aerial and have excellent reception. I replaced the stock GPS unit with the included Pioneer one. I think the total cost was around £550, more than I’ve spent on a phone in a long time so will be a while before I feel I’ve got my moneys worth. It does however really bring up the interior and is a vast improvement on the dated factory Alpine unit it replaced.
Here is all the wiring removed:

Happy to answer any questions you may have about it.
