Well apart from a short trip out a few weeks ago to get the MOT done on my Mk1, today was the first proper run out for ages. From Whickham I went over to Ponteland, then up to Otterburn, across to Bellingham (a spot of lunch sitting outside at a café here) then back down to Wall, Whittonstall and home via Burnopfield. Because I hadn’t been out in the car for so long it was like rediscovering the whole MX5 experience all over again - I’d forgotten how really good it is. Did I have a grin on my face the whole way round…you bet I did!
