Forgotten sports car?

…and lots of crumple zones…

Recyclable …

Unlike this beauty, certainly not forgotten, but rarely seen, but was Bonds car in Dr No :sunglasses:alpine

Its a Cian - I built a lego version at Christmas!! This cardboard one took a LOT of doing, so reslego pect!!

Well that looks pretty complex, patience is a virtue, and pays off !
I wish I had more, If I tackled anything like that , it would be down the end of the garden by now

How often would you wash that I wonder?

I’ve seen a lot of Ferrari replicas over the years and from a few hundred meters away they all looked great. That’s the only nice thing I can say about them. And when a group of them park together at car shows. Proof that some people have no standards or shame.

Got to be honest, just from looking at the photo, I quite like the look of that as well, :grinning:

I suppose it looks no worse than a Pit Crew Miata !

Wow that’s bad!
The red one in the original post has some nice lines but it’s blatantly an MX5, it’s not close to a Ferrari at all it’s just meh. Had they made it and not tried to rip off a Ferrari very badly but just debadged it and stopped a few mods earlier it could have been handsome.

I still prefer the reddun, but as Mrbarry says, if they had just had it as a totally modded MX5 rather than the Ferrari copy, it would have stood well on its own merits.

Not trying to be too picky but the top picture features a late Series 4 Alpine whereas the Dr No car was a Series 2, series 1,2 and 3 had the longer raked back rear wings, whereas the 4 and 5 had the shorter cut down wings so they could fit the Minx back lights and save some money.

Always loved, the Alpine and the Tiger, great looking Motors, real shame the demise of Rootes!
