Sorry to hijack this thread but just wondered if there are any views on Avon ZV7s? They seem to be a similar price to the Kumho H51’s and are from a name I recognise more. I like the fact they support historic race series and make tyres for old F1 cars but that’s a long way from my MX5!
I had the Avons on my Mk3 prior to the Kumho. Must stress they were getting very much ready for replacement on the fronts but I used to experience tramlining from them, it was pretty bad at times. Just fitting new tyres and all that stopped, I later had a 4 wheel alignment done.
